Delhi Daredevils need to win must for IPL 2018 today match
Captain
Gautam Gambhir not only took the captaincy of Delhi Daredevils but also took
the responsibility of poor performance and decided not to take the salary. Now Shreyas Iyer has been
given command in his place.
Delhi
Daredevils will play against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL match on Friday
with the new captain if the hosts also expect to change their fortunes.
In the tournament so far, neither batsmen of Delhi nor batsmen have been able to walk. So far, he has got the sole win against Mumbai Indians and in the remaining five matches he has to face defeat.

In the batting, captain Dinesh Karthik led from the front with 194 runs in six matches, while Chris Lynn has scored 181 runs. Shah Rukh Khan's team defeated Punjab in the last match on the basis of Duckworth-Lewis system, although before that he has won two consecutive matches. With six points from six matches, Kolkata Knight Riders is currently fourth in the numerical position and would like to reach the top three with a win on Friday.
